Two school parents have joined the Board of the Association which helps guide the direction of Geraldton Christian College.
Chelsie Bunter and Michael Welham were elected on Monday evening at the Annual General Meeting of Geraldton Christian Community Schools Association.
Mrs Bunter is a ministry worker at Lighthouse Church and both her girls have attended the College, while Rev Mike is a Minister at Geraldton Anglican Cathedral with two boys in primary school.
The meeting was updated on staffing, the curriculum, new building projects, and finances.
Ed Surrey, CEO of CRU West was the guest speaker and simultaneously had us in stitches while expounding on the importance of “being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience” (Col 1:11) for the many challenges ahead.
The Association now has seven Directors on its Board but we are still seeking expressions of interest from anyone who has a passion for Biblical Christian Education and a desire to see the College achieve its Vision and Mission.
