The BUZ Rangers have returned to the playground this term and can be seen around the school grounds every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in their bright green vests.

As well as supporting students during playtimes, the Rangers have helped introduce additional equipment and opportunities that encourage creative, active and inclusive play.

One of the most successful additions has been the sandpit toys. While they were initially expected to be more popular with younger students, they have proven to be a huge hit with students in Years 3 to 5.

At break times, students can often be seen digging elaborate holes, burying themselves and their friends in the sand, and creating all kinds of imaginative concoctions, constructions and games.

The introduction of these resources has enriched play experiences, encouraging creativity, collaboration and problem-solving.

The sandpit has become a vibrant and engaging space where students can connect with others, explore their imaginations and have fun together.
