We are praising God for His goodness and faithfulness after the recent Year 10 Carnarvon Service Trip.

It was a memorable and rewarding experience for all, providing students with the opportunity to grow in character while serving others.

Throughout the week, students were based at Carnarvon Christian School, leading teaching activities in small groups (Art, STEM, Physical Education and Music), fixing lighting, attaching displays and contributing to school maintenance, while also participating in community-focused initiatives that positively impacted those around them.

What stood out most was the fun-loving attitude displayed by the Year 10 students. The week challenged them in many ways, but they did not stop giving their time, energy and talents to encourage younger students, assist staff and contribute to the wider Carnarvon community.

Through acts of service, teamwork and genuine care for others, they demonstrated effort to living out the chosen scripture for the trip: 1 John 4:19 “We love because He first loved us”.

The trip was not only an opportunity to serve, but also a chance for students to build stronger relationships with each other, develop leadership skills and gain a deeper appreciation for the importance of community.

We are thankful for these opportunities and pray that the seeds sown will bear fruit in season.
