Year 9 students took part in a tour of the Australian Defence Satellite Communications Station at Kojarena, as part of Science Week.

This activity included:

  • Interactive sessions, hands-on demonstrations and talks by experts about space, quantum science and national security technologies.
  • Behind-the-scenes insights into satellite communications and defence applications.
  • STEM career inspiration for students through real-world demonstrations.
  • Opportunities to meet scientists and engineers working on Australia’s space and defence missions.

We thank ADSCS management and staff for providing our students with this rare opportunity.
