The start of the new school year saw history in the making at Geraldton Christian College as we rolled out Apple laptops for our Secondary school students.

We believe this new initiative will lead to an increase in student engagement, participation, and overall academic outcomes.

In Week 1, all students participated in a comprehensive two-period training session held in the Hall.

This session was thoughtfully designed to provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to use and handle their new school-owned Apple laptops and accessories effectively.

The Hall buzzed with enthusiasm as students received their new devices and accessories and explored the device, under the guidance of Mr Andrew Beard, Mr Aidan Hornsby, Mr Brunno Santos and myself.

The goal was to ensure that students gain confidence and feel comfortable using their new devices for their studies and clearly understand the behaviour expectations.
