Passion projects excite emotion

Parents were stunned by the amazing passion projects which Year 5/6 students displayed for their end of year activity.

The classroom was abuzz when families came to view the mini showcase which each student had put together to share their passion with others.

Logan E spent days researching information about his favourite sport, Motocross, and gathered trophies, memorabilia and riding gear to help excite others about the sport.

He was hooked immediately when he hopped on a bike at four years of age to copy his big brother, who now rides speedway. He loves the mud, thrill and speed of the sport, which requires balance, courage, upper body strength and ability to focus.

Logan proudly displayed his favourite trophy – Best Improved Rider – which reflected his hard work and persistence to build from a slow start to the season.

Teacher Mrs Michelle Paterson said the students were highly motivated to excel at the enquiry learning activity to tell others about what they loved and the achievements that made them proud.
