Year 7 students presented a Medieval play for primary school students as part of their drama curriculum.   

Students researched the history, lifestyle, economy and political system of the Middle Ages, which is also known as the Dark Ages.   

Dance and Drama Teacher Miss Shelley Cox said they all decided to present a drama about Robin Hood and opted to write their own because available scripts were too long.  

“The Years 7s workshopped the characters and plot before developing the script. They found an old blind to draw the castle backdrop and made some props themselves.” 

The drama was performed for the Year 2/3 class which thoroughly enjoyed the presentation.
